Nocturnal Kiwi Listening Walks- Sun 2nd Oct, Tues 4th Oct, Thur 6th Oct, Sun 9th Oct

The Whakatane Kiwi Trust is carrying out a series of nocturnal kiwi listening walks during the BIRDSaPLENTY Festival.

The walks start at 7:30pm and last for two hours,
Adults: $15 Children (aged 6 to 17): $10
Family Group (2 adults and 2 Children): $40
Children must be accompanied by one adult to each child.

Every year the Eastern Bay of Plenty celebrate our regionswonderfuldiverse bird life and the community organisations that work to maintain and enhance their natural habitats.This year the festival will run for 3 weeks with plenty of activities for everyone.The highlight will be an evening address by Ruud Kleinpaste a well known celebrity speaker who will entertain us with a talk entitledOur Biodiversity in Whakatane – privilege and responsibility.Ticket are available at Good Life on the Strand.

Other activities include walks, talks, debates, field trips and afternoon tea at the pottery. Programmes are available online and from Whakatane I Site, Eastbay REAP and many local businesses
